Who operates this site
Marik Brestovitsky operates marikbrest.com in Israel. For questions about this site or your data, email marik.brest@gmail.com. Computer from the Heart is a separate nonprofit; its enquiries belong on the nonprofit website.
Email drafts and contact
The contact composer prepares an email draft in your own email application. It does not send a message to a website server, confirm delivery or store your entries in browser storage. You must send the draft yourself. Your email provider and the recipient's email provider process a sent message under their own policies. You can also use the direct email link.
Messages received by email are used to respond to your enquiry. They are not automatically added to a mailing list. You can ask for deletion of a message you have sent.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you accept analytics. It measures page visits and interactions, such as navigation and opening an email draft, and receives technical information about your browser, device and approximate location. Contact field contents are not included in analytics events. Opening a draft is not recorded as a successfully delivered message.
If you decline, this site does not load the Google Analytics script. Fonts are downloaded from Google Fonts independently of analytics; those requests include technical information needed to deliver the files.
Your privacy preference
The accepted or declined preference and an expiry timestamp are saved in localStorage on this browser for up to one year. This is browser storage, not a cookie. The site asks again after expiry. If storage is unavailable, the choice may not persist. Use Privacy preferences on the homepage to change it at any time.
When analytics is accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies such as _ga. Changing your choice to Decline stops this site's analytics after the page reloads and attempts to remove its accessible _ga cookies. Browser privacy settings can also clear cookies and local storage.
Hosting and service providers
Hostinger serves this website and may keep operational or security logs, including IP address, requested URL, browser information and timestamps. Google provides the optional analytics service and hosted fonts. Their applicable policies and service settings govern processing and retention. This public page does not verify your Google Analytics account's retention configuration.
For Google's policy, see Google Privacy Policy. For hosting, see Hostinger Privacy Policy.
Requests and updates
For questions, corrections or deletion requests concerning information you have sent directly, contact marik.brest@gmail.com. This policy will be updated when the website's processing changes.
